FWB DriveTest is a tool to compare hard drive performance to user needs. It contains a full suite of tests to help you gauge the performance of your drives and to verify the data transfers are error-free. FWB DriveTest application includes two testing features:
Benchtest gives you the ability to compare to other drives as the test is being run. It ships with many sets of test data. BenchTest’s test results can be exported either as a text file, which can be viewed and/or printed using a text editor such as SimpleText, or a JPEG file which you can easily post on-line or for print.
Verify tests the overall integrity of the disk drive by transferring various block sizes to and from the drive. By reading, writing, and then comparing the read and write data, it tests the data integrity of the drive subsystem including the driver, the drive controller, the cabling, the drive’s motherboard, and the operating system.
